Do you take insurance?

I am in-network with several insurance providers, including the following. This list changes, so please call to confirm:

  • Quartz

  • WPS

  • The Alliance

It is important to check with your insurance provider before your first visit regarding copays and deductibles for in-network services.

Fee for service is available as well.  Please contact me for rates. I accept cash, check, HSA/FSA cards, and credit cards.  Out of network billing is not available, however, I am happy to issue you an itemized bill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement after your therapy session.  It is important to check with your insurance provider before your first appointment regarding out of network reimbursement as this varies across companies.

Contact me for information regarding fees for out-of-network therapy, consulting, coaching, and professional development services. Insurance can only be used for therapy services. All other services are not covered by medical insurance.

What are your policies?

At your first intake appointment, I will share my written policies with you and have paperwork for you to complete.  A few key policies to note:

  • All fees are due at the time of your appointment.

  • Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to your appointment time or a cancellation fee will be charged.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
